Mosaic is a family legacy app that helps families preserve and share audio and video memories across generations. This Privacy Policy explains how Mosaic Anchor LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Mosaic app. By creating an account, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Account Information: First name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), gender, and family role.
Recordings: Audio and video recordings you create, along with the prompt used and the date recorded.
Usage Data: Information about how you use the app, including which prompts you view and interact with.
Device Information: Basic device type and OS version for troubleshooting.
We use your information to provide and operate Mosaic, generate personalized prompts tailored to your family role, share your recordings with your family circle, enable family invitations, power optional in-app activities and games, send notification digests about new family memories, improve the app, and respond to feedback and support requests.
Within Your Family Circle: Recordings and profile information are visible to members of your family circle only.
Service Providers: We use Firebase (Google) for storage and authentication, and Anthropic to generate AI writing prompts. These providers do not use your data for their own purposes. Your recordings are not used to train AI models.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect user safety. We do not sell your personal information.
Mosaic requires users to be at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Users between 13 and 17 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use Mosaic, consistent with the consent provided at signup. Contact info@mosaic-anchor.com if you believe a child under 13 has an account.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Deleted accounts are permanently purged within 14 days.
We use HTTPS encryption, Firebase Authentication, and Firebase Security Rules to protect your data.
You may access, correct, or delete your information at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@mosaic-anchor.com or use the Delete Account option in the app.
We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
